Even a die-hard Celtics fan would be a fool to take anyone but one of these two with the #1 – what’s your call? I’m thinking Mr. James. |

I think you have to go with the guy who has the least path of resistance to the finals and that’s Kobe. |

You have to think Cleveland would at least get the conference finals. Given that, LeBron will probably put up better numbers because of his assist and rebounding numbers. Kobe pretty much scores and not much else. If it is points only, then yes, Kobe is the answer. |

Well – unlike the Blake Griffin disastrous CBB flub, main goal here is to wind up with one of each across my leagues. |

I think the only reason to take Kobe is if you think he is going to play more games. The Cavs should sweep easily in the first round and may not be tested in the second round, depending on who they play. Of course, if its Miami, then Cleveland may be in for a battle because Wade has that circle of fouling. Meanwhile, the Lakers won’t face a patsy the entire way. I’d still take LeBron and I wouldn’t think twice about it. |

As bhudson33 said, LeBron is a triple-double threat. I’d take him. Kobe’s a hell of a consolation prize though. |

My thinking was that Cleveland had a tougher road to the finals. With KG out now, it’s a no brainer.. LeBron should be the consensus #1 pick. The average draft position is now 1.08 for LeBron — which supports this. Glad to have you on board ACW1 — you need yourself an avatar though! |

Speaking of avatars, I wouldn’t mind switching mine to some semblance of a Mets jersey if that team can finally deliver me another ring in October. |

Well – this one comes down to whether or not CLE can pull out the next 2 games. Hard one for me to root for: PRO CLE: PRO ORL: |

|
And now it comes down to D-How or Kobe. D-How’s got the slight edge after tonight’s monstrous game. |
